 A “can do” attitude and the ability to source and screen qualified candidates is the key to success in the position. Having knowledge of the latest technologies is a huge plus and applicants who can do their own technical screening will be contacted immediately.

Job Description
The Technical Recruiter at GSR is responsible for sourcing and recruiting technical professionals for contracting and direct hire opportunities within client organizations. Additional duties include the following.

  • Review and analyze active client requirements to source and identify candidates for open positions.
  • Utilize multiple internet resources, including the Technical Recruiters own creative networking techniques to source candidates
  • Track and manage all candidate and client interaction in and recording the same in the ATS
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates “fit” and technical competence – this is a key part of the job. Must be able to determine the candidate’s abilities and ensure that the resume reflects their current skills.
  • Present career opportunities to qualified applicants.
  • Negotiate candidate’s contracts, rates  and terms of employment.
  • Complete necessary pre-employment processes including NDAs, drug, and security checks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contract employees and assigned clients
  • Participate in daily meetings to collaborate with management, peers, and Account Managers to ensure all active requirements are covered and potential closes are managed successfully.
  • Learn and follow our proven recruiting process designed to provide the maximum chances for a successful placement.
  • Manage contract employees while on assignment. Assess and investigate contract or related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

  • Candidate must be knowledgeable in the newest technologies in the IT market and should be able to screen candidates to determine their aptitude with these technologies.
  • Ability to work on Full-time, Contract to Hire and Contract positions with direct clients.
  • Must have a Technical Bachelor’s degree or related sales or recruiting experience.
  • Possess strong written and oral English language communication skills.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Outlook
  • Have work experience in a service-oriented business.
  • Have a desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment and be capable of extensively using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirement
